British royalty of jazz Dame Cleo Laine to open @ the RRazz room at Hotel Nikko San Francisco on Tuesday, October 19, 8pm. This will be her first performance sans Sir John Dankworth, who passed away in February 2010. 50 years of performing with her husband. Every song, lyric and note is forever embedded into the psyche.

Music, one of the most powerful forms of communication, has the ability to reach into the depths of existence and tap into our subconscious. I trust with all my heart that these performances will continue to strengthen the bond between Dame Cleo and Sir John. Energy never dies....
