Franc D'Ambrosio is best known as the "Phantom" in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award winning Musical, The Phantom Of The Opera. Franc also starred as the opera singing son of Al Pacino in Godfather III where he sang the Academy Award winning theme song, "Speak Softly Love" (Brucia la Terra) both in the film and on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Discovered by producer and songwriter Richard Barrett circa 1963, The Three Degrees garnered their greatest successes with Philadelphia International Records under Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff. The first song they recorded was with the studio band MFSB, entitled "TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia)," which was the theme song for Soul Train. Their third single "When Will I See You Again" was the one that hit mainstream.
